1. What is one word you would you use to describe Mrs. Watson?
Ms.Watson is forgiving.She wanted to burn her child but Joey her daughter begged her not to burn Byron so she didn't do on pg .69.Ms.Watson said"I swear as god as my witness"that she wouldn't hurt Byron



2. What is one word you would you use to describe Mr. Watson?
Mr. Watson is a joker. Most of what he's done so far in the book is crack jokes. On p. 3, Kenny says "...we knew Dad was going to try to make us forget about being cold by cutting up." On. p. 16, Mr. Watson can hardly stop laughing when Byron gets his lips stuck to the car because he was kissing the windshield. These examples both show that one way Kenny's Dad deals with bad situations is by laughing.


3. Do you think they would make good parents? why or why not?
No because,Mr.Watson doesn't take thing seriously when Kenny says "...we knew Dad was going to try to make us forget about being cold by cutting up." On pg.16,all Mr.Watson did was laugh and Mrs.Watson she wanted to burn her child she was getting closer to his skin and was really going to burn then she said"Don't worry I will only burn your fingers" so she was still going to burn Byron.


4. What would you have done about Byron if you were Mrs. Watson?
I would tell him that smoking is a bad thing and that it could kill you or WORSE it could burn down your house instead if you kept it lite

Four Little Girls

In Birmingham,Alabama there were four little girls(Carole,Denise,Addy,Cynthia) who died during the freedom walk(movement).The uncolored was tormenting us with hoses and rapid dogs it was nothing but racism those days.The challenges they had to face was that they had dogs chasing and biting them(colored people).

I disagree with president Clinton's quote because,students should be able to wear whatever they want.Uniform's don't solve all problems that the supporter says it does.It doesn't matter if you do wear uniform's students do still fight with each other.

Just like in "Say no to school uniforms"students will still follow fashion trend's even if they can't wear clothes in class.In"First impressions"when Patrice said"You cannot change the way i look" so they can't change the way we look either.No one can change the way we want to look .

President Clinton's quote says"Public schools should be able to require their students to wear school uniforms"I don't think that's good since school uniforms cost so much money and since you need to buy gym or dance clothes that cost twice as much some families can't afford that.

As a student I would make a campaign to stop school uniforms not just in New York everywhere because there can be students that doesn't want school uniforms either.

First Impressions

One passage i would use from "First Impressions"would be "Even if your clothes are spotless,if they're wrinkled,you'll look like slob , people will automatically think your are a slob, with nothing worthwhile to say.I guarantee they won't even bother trying to get to know you." This can support my essay because,if your clothes are wrinkled than people will think that you are a slop.
